Shuntaro Takeuchi

Shuntaro Takeuchi is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia since July 2016. Shuntaro is currently the Portfolio Manager for Matthews Japan Fund, Matthews Japan Opportunities Strategy, and Matthews Asia Growth Fund. Prior to their current role, Shuntaro served as the Head of Research at Matthews Asia. Before joining Matthews Asia, Shuntaro worked at UBS as an Executive Director in Japan/Asia Equity Sales and Head of International Equity. Their previous experience also includes working at Merrill Lynch in US Equity Sales. Shuntaro Takeuchi graduated from Hitotsubashi University with a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce and Management.
