Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang is currently a Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia, where they manage a portfolio within the Chinese fixed income market with the goal of alpha generation. Prior to this role, Wei worked as an Analyst at BlueCrest Capital Management where they evaluated fundamental investments in high yield and investment grade credit. Additionally, Wei was responsible for building and updating detailed financial models of potential LBO acquisition targets at GF Capital. With a background in company-specific fundamental research and modeling, Wei also worked as an Associate at Sowood Capital Management. Wei holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from Columbia Business School.
