Jessica Tullar

Jessica Tullar currently serves as the President & CEO and Executive Director of Matthews Chamber of Commerce, a position held since August 2020. With extensive experience in dance education, Jessica has been a freelance dancer and choreographer since June 2008, providing instruction in various styles such as tap, jazz, and contemporary for students aged two and older. Prior to the Chamber of Commerce, Jessica was the Museum Manager at Discovery Place from July 2011 to August 2020, where responsibilities included event planning, budget management, staff supervision, and collaboration on fundraising efforts. Earlier roles at Discovery Place included Coordinator and Creative Play Professional, with a focus on educational programming. Jessica's career began at Discovery Center of the Southern Tier as Early Education Coordinator. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and dual bachelor's degrees in Dance and Communication and Media Studies from SUNY Brockport.
