Larry J. Newport

Larry J. Newport, CIH CSP CPM, is a seasoned professional in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) with significant experience across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global EHS at Matthews International since April 2020, Larry oversees EHS for approximately 300 sites and 11,000 employees, while managing business risk and developing global EHS systems. Previous roles include Director of EHS at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, where Larry achieved notable incident reductions and implemented key safety processes, and EHS Manager at PepsiCo, supporting North American manufacturing sites. With additional experience at Givaudan, KERAMIDA Inc., Tennessee Valley Authority, and Mason & Hanger Corporation, Larry holds a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management from Indiana State University.
