Katie Carpenter

Katie Carpenter has a strong background in finance and accounting. Katie started their career at Barnett & Company, Inc. as a Staff Accountant in 2006 and worked there until 2012. In 2013, they joined Barnett & Company, Inc. Certified Public Accountants as a Tax Manager until 2016. Following that, they joined Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, where they held the role of Controller from 2016 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Finance at the same company.

Katie Carpenter obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, attending from 2001 to 2005. Katie then pursued higher education by obtaining a Master's degree in Taxation from California State University, Fullerton, attending from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Katie holds the certification of Enrolled Agent from the Internal Revenue Service.
