ileana Gomez Gasteasoro

Ileana Gomez Gasteasoro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked at the Instituto para la Protección al Ahorro Bancario (IPAB) as the Jefe de Departamento de Análisis Financiero. In 2007, they joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst and later became an Associate. ileana continued their career at Goldman Sachs until 2013.

In 2013, Ileana joined BlackRock as a Vice President in the Infrastructure Investment Group. After three years, they transitioned to Goldman Sachs again, this time as a Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking division. ileana held various roles at Goldman Sachs, including Associate and Vice President.

In 2019, Ileana moved to albo, where they served as the Head of Business from January 2019 to December 2019. ileana then became the Chief Operating Officer from January 2020 to September 2021. Later, they took on the role of Chief Strategy Officer from October 2021 to December 2021.

Since 2016, Ileana has been a Board Member at Kaya Impacto. Recently, in 2022, they became the COO & Co-Founder of mattilda.

Ileana Gomez Gasteasoro has a diverse education background. ileana obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) from the University of Pennsylvania from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Actuarial Science from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. ileana completed their high school education and received a diploma from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1997 and 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Ileana also holds a certification in "The Emerging COO: Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence Program" from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they obtained in August 2021.
