Jesus Lanza

Jesus Lanza has a diverse work experience, with a strong focus on investment and management roles. Jesus is currently serving as the Co-Founder of "mattilda." since June 2022. Prior to this, Jesus held the position of Managing Partner - CEO at Lottus Education starting from July 2015. Before that, they co-founded and served as the Managing Partner at Lottus Capital Partners, a private investment firm in Mexico specializing in the acquisition and active management of middle-market companies.

Jesus also gained experience in the financial sector, working at Cerberus Capital Management in the Credit Opportunities & Special Situations Group from 2012 to 2013. Jesus also worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division - Latin America from 2009 to 2011 and at Citi in the Investment Banking Division - Latin America from 2007 to 2009.

Jesus Lanza has a diverse education history. Jesus began their academic journey at Universidad de Oviedo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics & Business Administration from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they participated in a one-year exchange program at Maastricht University, supported by the Erasmus Scholarship, focusing on International Business.

In 2007, Jesus attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for an Executive Education program in International Business. After this, they continued their studies at the London Business School, earning a Masters degree in Finance from 2011 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Jesus obtained a certificate in Distressed Asset Investing and Corporate Restructuring from Wharton Executive Education in August 2020.
