Chau Chavez

Chau Chavez, CPA, MBA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting.

Chau started their career at Loral Aerospace in 1991 as a Cost Accountant/Property Administration Lead, where they remained until 1997.

Chau then joined Applied Materials as a Finance Manager, holding the position from 1997 to 2005.

In 2005, Chau moved on to work at JDS Uniphase in a finance role for a year.

Later in 2005, they joined Cisco Systems as a Finance Manager, where they worked until 2007.

From there, Chau joined Mattson Technology in 2007 as the Sr. Finance Manager, responsible for Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collection. In 2010, they were promoted to Director, Corporate Accounting. In this role, they were in charge of external/SEC reporting, technical accounting, worldwide close and consolidations, Accounts Payable, business processes & SOX compliance for corporate accounting, stock compensation, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger. Chau also acted as the primary liaison to external auditors and oversaw the quarter-end/year-end audit review process.

Chau Chavez, CPA, MBA completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cal State East Bay- College of Business & Economics in 1990. Chau pursued further education and obtained their MBA in Finance & MIS from Santa Clara University in 1999.
