Gilbert Hendry

Gilbert Hendry is an experienced architect and technology leader with a diverse background in software engineering, data science, and machine learning. Currently serving as an Architect at MatX since November 2024, Gilbert previously held the position of VP of Software at Fabric Cryptography, where the focus was on advancing cryptography applications. Significant roles at Meta and Culture Biosciences involved contributions to computer architecture, machine learning research, and data analytics for bioreactor experiments. Prior experience includes senior and leadership positions at Google, Microsoft Research, and Sandia National Laboratories, showcasing expertise in search latency, automated machine learning, and large-scale system deployment. Gilbert's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
