Ernesto Kabashima

Ernesto Kabashima has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ernesto is currently working at Mauá Capital since December 2019, where they hold the position of Head of Risk. Prior to this role, they served as Head of Operations and Partner at Mauá Capital. In 2023, Ernesto joined Jive Investments as Head of Risk.

Before their time at Mauá Capital and Jive Investments, Ernesto worked at RB Capital as an Associate from April 2018 to March 2019. Ernesto also held the position of Risk and Compliance Director at Centuria Investimentos from November 2015 to March 2018.

Earlier in their career, Ernesto gained experience as a Risk Manager at VentureStar Capital Management from September 2013 to October 2015 and at Skipper Investimentos from March 2010 to October 2015. Ernesto also worked as a Fund Manager at Quorum Participações from November 2005 to March 2010 and as a Risk Analyst at SPM Participações from March 2004 to November 2005.

Ernesto's career began at Itaú BBA, where they worked as a Market Risk Analyst from November 2000 to March 2004.

Ernesto Kabashima obtained a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, starting in 2002 and completing it in 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, from 1996 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the titles of "Administrador de Carteira de Valores Mobiliários" and "Consultor de Valores Mobiliários" from CVM in 2009 and 2007 respectively.
