Debbie Cabebe

Debbie joined MEO in 2000 as the organization's Chief Human Resources Officer and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and to Chief Executive Officer in 2017. She is a past President of the Maui Nonprofit Directors Association, and a current member. She is the Treasurer of the Hawaii Community Action Partnership Directors Association and Rocky Mountain HI, Inc. She represents MEO on the Workforce Investment Board and is a board member of the Friends of the Children's Justice Center, the Association of Farmworkers Opportunities Programs and the Hawaii Association of Nonprofit Organizations. She is the State Delegate for the Community Transportation Association of America. She is the former Chair and current member of the Maui County Council on Aging, and is a member of the Maui Chamber and the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce. Debbie is a nationally certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a certificated Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) Trainer. She volunteers her time for numerous organizations. Debbie was recognized by Pacific Business News as a 2019 Woman Who Means Business Honoree and the Maui Nonprofit Executive Director of the Year.
