Michael Smith is the SVP of Omni Channel at maurices. Prior to their current position, they were the SVP OmniCommerce at Stage Stores from May 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for driving the growth of Stage Stores' OmniCommerce business by partnering with all internal stakeholders to unify online and store experiences for customers. Before Stage Stores, Michael was the VP, eCommerce at Sterling Jewelers from May 2011 to April 2015. In this role, they led a cross-functional team working with a heavily matrixed organization to comprehensively redesign, manage and grow the company's four transactional eCommerce web sites. Michael has also held positions at Lord & Taylor and Macy's. Michael has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
