Roman Meierer

Chief R&d Engineer at Maury Microwave

Roman Meierer has extensive work experience in the field of microwave technology and engineering. Roman started their career as a Research Engineer at LEP in 1982 and then worked as an Engineer at SPAR Aerospace from 1985 to 1987. Roman later joined Optotek as a Software Engineer from 1988 to 1992. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as a Consultant at TDL TechDev Labs. Roman then held the position of Director, RF Technology at Beltron from 1998 to 2000. Roman worked as a Principle Design Engineer at Ciena (ONI Systems) from 2000 to 2003. Roman served as the CTO of Focus Microwaves from 2003 to 2008. Currently, they are the Chief R&D Engineer at Maury Microwave, starting from September 2008.

Roman Meierer attended RWTH Aachen University from 1975 to 1981, where they earned a degree in Telecommunications/Semiconductor Physics.
