Dan Opie

Dan Opie is an experienced plant manager currently overseeing operations at Mauser since December 2024. Prior to this role, Dan served as the Director of Operations for Blue Castings at Blue Origin from February 2024 to October 2024. Dan’s extensive career includes a tenure as General Manager at Wabtec Corporation from February 2015 to September 2023, and a long-term position at Bridgestone from November 1991 to October 2014, where responsibilities included Maintenance Superintendent, Plant Manager, Production Manager, and Quality Engineer. Dan began his career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Parker Hannifin from September 1985 to November 1991. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
