Maven is looking for a Senior Benefit Design & Implementation Manager to support Maven’s employer clients in the design and implementation of their family building and women’s continuing health reimbursement benefits through Maven. This role is part of the Program Management team at Maven. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Product, and Engineering from sales through implementation and launch of new clients, driving an efficient and scalable benefit design process.

Reporting to our Director, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding operational KPIs while assessing results to ensure effective and efficient performance. 

As Senior Benefit Design & Implementation Manager at Maven, you will: 

  • Provide expert benefit design consultation to employers evaluating Maven’s family building and women’s continuing health reimbursement programs, through client meetings, written communications, and analyses 
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on Maven’s benefit design, operations, compliance and reporting capabilities 
  • Develop and maintain internal resources, tools, templates, and training required for efficient benefit design from sales through implementation 
  • Play a key role in the successful implementation of new clients by:
    • Participating directly in benefit design implementations for Maven’s largest employer clients
    • Answering client questions asynchronously and in meetings
    • Serving as a resource for Maven’s Client Services team
    • Generating key plan documents associated with the client’s benefit design
    • Ensuring that benefit design requirements are documented and accurately configured for launch
  • Manage dashboards and reporting related to a consistent pipeline of clients launching with Maven’s reimbursement programs 
  • Collaborate closely with Maven’s Product, Engineering, and Payment Operations teams on client customization requests and feedback 

We’re looking for you to bring:  

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in benefit design and implementation at a health plan or other third-party payer, or health & benefits consulting; experience working in fertility and family building benefits a plus 
  • Client relationship management skills and ability to navigate client decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong attention to detail, including legal and compliance matters
  • Strong operational skills including project management, business requirements gathering, and relationship management
  • Excitement about and demonstrated track record of setting up and running efficient, scalable processes
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong educational track record

For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role is only open to candidates in the NYC-metropolitan area and will require you to be in-office for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). While flexibility will always be core to Maven’s policies, we also believe in the power of in-person connection. Our hybrid work policy was created with both principles in mind. 

This role requires active work authorization in the US.
