Maven is looking for a Senior Benefit Design & Implementation Manager to lead Maven’s employer clients through the design of their managed fertility and family building benefits through Maven. This role is part of the Program Management team at Maven, working cross functionally with Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Product, and Engineering from sales through implementation of new clients, delivering benefit design-related insights and recommendations and leading work-streams, while playing a key role in the ongoing development of Maven’s managed fertility and family building benefits.
Reporting to our Director, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding operational KPIs while assessing results to ensure effective and efficient performance.
As Senior Benefit Design & Implementation Manager at Maven, you will:
- Provide expert benefit design consultation to employers evaluating Maven’s managed fertility and family building benefits, through client meetings, written communications, and analyses
- Review client plan documents, SPDs, and SBCs to develop recommendations on benefit design and configuration through Maven
- Play a key role in the successful implementation of new clients by: guiding clients on benefit design decisions, benefit funding and claims, and compliance matters; documenting benefit requirements; developing and presenting client and member facing collateral and presentations; and ensuring that benefit design is accurately configured by Maven’s internal teams for launch
- Work directly with national and regional payers and pharmacy benefit managers to manage fertility benefit carve-outs and technical integration
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on Maven’s managed fertility and family building benefits
- Define and develop benefit design-related internal resources, toolkits, and training
- Manage dashboards and reporting related to a consistent pipeline of clients launching with Maven’s managed benefits program
- Collaborate closely with Maven’s Product and Engineering teams to maintain a roadmap for the continuous enhancement of Maven’s managed fertility and family building benefits based on client feedback and requests
We’re looking for you to bring:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a benefit design and/or implementation capacity at a health plan or other third-party payer, with a focus on fertility benefits design and/or implementation
- Client relationship management skills to navigate client decision-making in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong operational skills including project management, business requirements gathering, and relationship management
- Demonstrated track record of delivering initiatives that involved significant external / third party collaboration on-time and on-budget
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong educational track record
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
