Andy Zolyak

Andy Zolyak has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Andy currently serves as a Senior Android Engineer at Maven Clinic starting from November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Clover Network, Inc. as an Android Engineer from February 2019 to November 2020. During their time at Clover Network, they developed a system for displaying custom modal notifications for online orders on Clover devices and optimized web requests made by devices to an endpoint during peak times.

Before joining Clover Network, Andy worked as a Software Engineer at Assurant from June 2016 to February 2019. At Assurant, they designed and built an SDK and web service to assess the insurability of phones, contributed to a device health monitoring SDK for a major OEM, and analyzed OEM customizations to the Android framework.

Prior to Assurant, Andy worked at Mobile Defense as a Mobile Engineer from February 2013 to May 2016. Andy worked on an SDK for a major OEM, conducted power consumption testing, and developed an app for gathering phone data for analysis and troubleshooting.

Before entering the technology industry, Andy worked as a Freelance Web Developer, designing custom layouts and backends for clients and using content management systems to enable clients to maintain their own websites. Andy also gained experience as a Web Application Developer (Intern) at Acme Express, Inc., where they led the transition to reporting with Microsoft SQL Server and designed reports for hospitals' doctor scheduling applications.

Andy Zolyak obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University. Andy studied Computer Engineering and Music from 2008 to 2012.
