Raquel Lopes

Raquel Lopes has a diverse work experience with a focus on psychology and wellness. Raquel started their career as a Psychologist at NGO-Prosalis from August 1999 to June 2001. Raquel then worked as a Psychologist for the Ministry of Health of Portugal from 2001 to August 2018. In 2016, they started their own business called www.raquelalmeidalopes.com, where they provided psychology services, corporate health and wellness coaching, clinical psychology, wellbeing training and workshops, and developed corporate health programs. Raquel also worked as a Care Advocate at Maven Clinic starting in May 2023. Additionally, they founded Apricot Corporate Health in May 2021, focusing on wellness management.

Raquel Lopes has a diverse education history with a focus on psychology, health coaching, and deviant behavior and criminal sciences. In 2020, they attended the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses and pursued studies in the implementation of psychology services in health units of the Portuguese health system (SNS), psychological intervention in catastrophic situations, and psychology services mediated through information and communication technologies.

In 2015, Raquel Lopes enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and studied to become an Integrative Health Coach. That same year, they also received training in brief interventions and motivational interview techniques from Sicad-Health Ministry.

Furthermore, in 2013, Raquel Lopes completed a course on brief interventions and assist techniques, also offered by Sicad-Health Ministry. To further their knowledge in their field, they pursued a Master's Degree in Deviant Behavior and Criminal Sciences at the University of Lisbon from 2003 to 2007. Prior to this, Raquel Lopes obtained a pre-Bologna degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa between 1993 and 1998.

Lastly, in 2017, Raquel Lopes attended the Integrative Women's Health Institute and obtained a Women's Health Coach certification, adding to their expertise in the field.
