Dave Spann

Dave Spann is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and mobile communications sectors. Currently serving as VP Technology and Architecture/CTO at Xura since September 2015, Dave leads strategy, alignment, and evangelization of products across digital communications and monetization services for mobile operators. Previously, from June 2007 to September 2015, Dave held various senior roles at Acision, including CTO, where responsibilities encompassed technical due diligence for acquisitions, architecture management of product ranges, and innovation in mobile messaging solutions. Earlier roles include Chief Architect at LogicaCMG Mobile Payments, where Dave oversaw architecture for payment portfolios, and a variety of positions at LogicaCMG and Aethos Communications, focused on prepaid and real-time systems. Dave Spann holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent.
