Shahan was previously the CEO of Nyheter24-Gruppen, a media company in Sweden, and also the co-founder and CEO of Gruppi, which was acquired by Nyheter24-Gruppen. Shahan has also worked as a research intern at Microsoft Research and as a freelance writer.
