Ryan Schwartz possesses extensive experience in the beverage industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and President of Maverick Beverage Company since January 2017. Previously held the title of President and Partner at Quench Fine Wines LTD from April 2018 to April 2023, and has been a Partner at Progress Wine Group and Maverick MN from June 2017 to April 2023. Ryan Schwartz was also the CEO and Partner at Victory Wine Group between January 2015 and April 2023, and served as Chief Operating Officer of the Wine Division at Hensley Beverage Company from October 2010 to January 2015. Earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director, and Key Account Sales Representative at Quench Fine Wines from 2003 to 2010, as well as Director of Wine and Sommelier at Janos and J Bar Restaurants from 2000 to 2004. Ryan Schwartz earned a Master of Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business from the University of Arizona.

Maverick Beverage Company represents a new era in beverage distribution in the United States. We are the result of a shared vision of like-minded, independent fine wine and craft spirits distributors from across the country. Starting with Maverick Wine Company in 2002, we have grown and forged new partnerships now spanning six states, coming together with Victory Wine Group Texas, Quench Fine Wines Arizona, Progress Wine Group Florida, and Maverick Wine Minnesota (all distributors that were aligned under Palomar Beverage Company). Starting in 2023 we are united under one brand, Maverick Beverage Company. Together we have the resources and reach to remain relevant and compete in markets increasingly dominated by a handful of large wholesalers while operating independently to better serve each market and deliver for our customers and suppliers. There is no other distributor of our size focusing specifically on fine wine and craft spirits.
