Akanimo U. is an accomplished Senior Developer at Maverick Capital since August 2021, following a tenure as Lead of Trading Systems at HBK Capital Management from 2007 to August 2021, where responsibility included the development and management of proprietary electronic trading platforms. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Futureshock Consultants, focusing on trading, portfolio management, and investment accounting systems, and as a Lead Developer at Updata Plc, where contributions were made to pricing and data management engines. Akanimo holds an M.Sc in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B. Eng in Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
