Sarah McLafferty

Sarah McLafferty is a Compliance Associate at Maverick Capital since April 2022, with prior experience as an Operations Analyst in Global Investigations & Compliance at Guidehouse, where transaction analysis for financial crime indicators was a key responsibility. Previous roles include serving as a virtual intern for the U.S. Department of Commerce's NTIA, facilitating educational opportunities related to telecommunications, and assisting as a Teaching Assistant for an upper-level "Innovation" course at Syracuse University. In addition, Sarah worked as a Democracy Intern at Public Citizen, coordinating activism efforts, and held an internship in the Political and Economic Section of the U.S. Department of State. Sarah earned dual Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Political Science from Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
