Yossi Shahak

Yossi Shahak has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical imaging and AI. Yossi is the Founder and CEO of Maverick Medical AI since 2018, where they lead the company's operations and strategic direction. Prior to that, Yossi worked as an Independent Consultant from 2017 to 2018, specializing in medical imaging and AI. In this role, they were highly motivated to improve clinical productivity and reduce medical errors for healthcare providers and payers. Yossi also served as the VP of Sales and Business Development at Zebra Medical Vision Ltd from 2016 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Yossi held various leadership positions at McKesson. As the Executive Director of International Sales and Business Development from 2013 to 2016, they were responsible for the company's international business growth and strategy. Yossi successfully recovered the company's activity in the radiology field in the UK and played an instrumental role in developing the business plan for the UK radiology go-to-market strategy. Yossi also served as the Director of Business Development and Product Management in Medical Imaging, where they recommended international strategies for new market penetration and was responsible for international business development for the Medical Imaging Group.

Prior to joining McKesson, Yossi worked at Medcon Telemedicine Technology as a Project Manager and Software Engineer. In these roles, they led projects from product design to implementation at customer sites and developed expertise in web development and software engineering.

Throughout their career, Yossi Shahak has demonstrated a strong passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, to improve healthcare outcomes. Yossi is highly knowledgeable in medical imaging systems and has a track record of driving business growth and innovation in the healthcare industry.

Yossi Shahak attended Tel Aviv University from 2008-2009, where they completed their EMBA in the field of Business. Prior to that, from 1997-2000, they attended Emek Yeezrael College and obtained their B.A. in Computer Science.
