Luis Colón-Romero Eit

Luis Colón-Romero, EIT, is a skilled Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing and process optimization. Currently at Maverick Molding Company since May 2020, Luis oversees the production and quality testing of composite molding compounds and has developed work instructions and experimental production procedures while managing hazardous material disposal. Prior experience includes roles at The J.M. Smucker Company as a Refinery Technician, where operation and troubleshooting of edible oils refining processes were managed, and as a Plant Technician, responsible for inventory management and training. Earlier, at Container Marketing, Inc., Luis focused on improving inventory accuracy and cost savings through data analysis and inventory management. Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Puerto Rico (2007-2013).
