Rusty Holland

Rusty Holland has a diverse and extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Rusty is currently working as a Senior Completions Engineer at Maverick Natural Resources since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Encana Corporation as a Staff Completions Engineer from March 2019 to 2020, where they successfully implemented various job designs and piloted new technologies in Bakken and Uinta Basin Formations.

Before joining Encana Corporation, Rusty worked at Newfield Exploration as a Staff Completions Engineer from March 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they played a key role in establishing cube development and optimizing full section development in Stack and Scoop Basins in Oklahoma.

Rusty's earlier work experience includes working as a Senior Completions Engineer at Southwestern Energy from December 2014 to March 2018. Their responsibilities included ensuring safety compliance and managing well costs in Marcellus/Utica formations. Rusty also worked as a Completions Engineer in Fayetteville shale formation from July 2012 to December 2014, designing and executing completions for multiple horizontal wells.

In the beginning of their career, Rusty spent two years as a Rotational Engineer, receiving training in various disciplines including Production, Drilling, and Completions. During this time, they gained field experience as a field engineer.

Rusty Holland completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Rusty attended the university from 2005 to 2010. Later on, from 2020 to 2022, Rusty pursued a Master of Professional Studies in Data Analytics from Penn State World Campus.
