Garrett Ringler began their work experience as a Structure Analyst at Chemical Abstracts Service in July 2010. In July 2011, they transitioned to become a Field Service Engineer - Demand at ABB, where they worked with industrial distributed control systems. Garrett primarily worked with the System 800xA in the petrochemical industry and also gained experience with ABB's legacy systems. In May 2015, they joined Denka Performance Elastomers (Previously DuPont) as an Automation and Process Control Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining and improving the site's automation and process control systems. Garrett provided support for operators and production personnel and implemented process control design changes. In January 2016, they moved to The Dow Chemical Company as a Process Control Engineer, focusing on process automation design improvements and driving hardware and software upgrades. Garrett also served as the plant representative for DCS improvement projects and Manufacturing Execution Systems. Since April 2019, Garrett has been working as a Senior Engineer at MAVERICK Technologies, A Rockwell Automation Company. In this role, they implement automation and control system projects on various platforms, supports project planning and control system conversions and upgrades, and handles automation design, hardware upgrades, programming, and graphic conversions.
Garrett Ringler attended The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2011 where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
