Shane Hudson

Shane Hudson has extensive work experience in the field of instrument, electrical, and control engineering. Shane started their career as a Senior Engineer at Rhone-Poulenc AG (Bayer CropScience) in 1989, where they managed various plant I&E projects and developed project scopes and estimates. Shane also designed plant electrical equipment and led a major retrofit project that installed remote electronic meters and input modules in a manufacturing facility.

In 1996, Shane joined Flexsys America L.P. as a Senior Instrument and Electrical Engineer. Here, they developed project scopes, estimates, and justifications, and presented them to management. Shane also managed capital and expense projects and provided troubleshooting and support for plant operations.

In 2004, Shane moved on to Augusta Engineering & Design as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager. In this role, they managed projects while directing the work of up to seven individuals. Shane performed detailed IE&C design and specification work, scoped projects, and developed proposals. Notably, they served as the Project Manager and Lead Engineer for a major DCS migration project.

Since 2008, Shane has been working at MAVERICK Technologies as a Principal Engineer. Here, they serve as a Lead Engineer for various instrument, electrical, and control projects for different clients. Shane'sresponsibilities include project scoping and definition, functional specification development, coordinating information flow, and performing technical work. Notably, they led the design of a Profibus DP network with a mix of control hardware and third-party systems.

Throughout their career, Shane has showcased strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to successfully complete complex projects.

Shane Hudson has a strong educational background in both business administration and electrical engineering. Shane obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration from Marshall University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology between 1985 and 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Shane Hudson has also acquired several certifications. Shane is a licensed Professional Engineer in both the State of Texas, which they obtained in October 2008 from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, and the State of West Virginia, which they obtained in October 1994 from the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Furthermore, they completed the online course "OLT_LYNDA_1863 Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics" provided by Lynda.com.
