Jelle Kooijman

Jelle Kooijman is an experienced sports professional currently serving as the Technical Director at Maverick Volleyball since April 2022, where responsibilities include hiring and developing coaches and creating program curriculums. Jelle also holds the position of Head Volleyball Coach for the Algonquin Wolves Varsity Men's Volleyball Team, leading planning and execution of practice and matches. As a Mental Performance Consultant for JWK Mental Performance Training, Jelle supports athletes at all levels, and serves as the Lead Mental Performance Consultant for Volleyball Canada's Men's Indoor Senior National Team. Previous roles include Head Volleyball Coach for the Ontario Volleyball Association and Athletic Trainer for SVU Volleyball Club, along with educational credentials in Sport and Exercise Psychology from prestigious institutions and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Science.
