Kevin Robins

Kevin Robins has an extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Kevin is currently serving as the VP of Cybersecurity at Maveris, where they oversee the cybersecurity portfolio and leads the Maveris Employee Innovation Program. Prior to this, Kevin held various roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including Director of the Cybersecurity Operations Center and Acting Executive Director of Information Security Operations. Kevin was responsible for transforming the traditional Security Operations Center into a proactive Cybersecurity Operations Center and leading a team focused on cybersecurity operations, risk management, and workforce development. Kevin also worked as the Director of the Network Security Operations Center and Associate Director of Service Design and Implementation at the VA. Before joining the VA, they worked as an IT Specialist at the FBI, where they played a key role in implementing important infrastructure services. Kevin started their career as an IT Trainer at SSB, Inc.

Kevin Robins attended Ritenour Senior High from 1977 to 1981. In 1981, they went on to study at Westminster College (MO) for a year. From 1989 to 1993, they attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained an Associates in Applied Science in two different fields - Computer Science Technology and Electrical/Mechanical Technology.
