Waseem Albaba

Waseem Albaba is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Red Team Operator at Maveris and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Florida. Waseem also holds the position of Team Captain at CyberHerd while being the Founder of Protocol Security, where leadership in Capture The Flag (CTF) events thrives. Additionally, Waseem is the President of the Whitehatters Computer Security Club, focusing on competitions in CTF and Cyber Defense. Previous experience includes roles as an Offensive Security Engineer at Trace3 and an Adversarial Security Engineer at Prelude, along with foundational experience as a Security Engineering Intern. Waseem's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at the University of South Florida, expected to complete in December 2025.
