Clayton Hess

Clayton Hess is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the venture capital and private equity sectors. As the Director of Finance at Maveron since October 2024, Clayton previously served as Controller at Dolby Family Ventures from May 2023 to October 2024. Prior to that, Clayton was with Standish Management, LLC from April 2019 to May 2023, initially as Fund Controller managing client relationships and supervising financial reporting, and earlier as a Senior Associate. Clayton began their finance career as an Associate at Standish Management, LLC after completing an internship focused on venture capital fund administration. Additionally, Clayton served in the United States Air Force from April 2015 to April 2017, providing executive support to the base commander. Clayton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
