Matt Kastendieck CFA, MBA, is a finance and data analysis professional with diverse experience, currently serving as a Data Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, and Reporting Analyst at Mawer Investment Management since September 2020. Prior to this, Matt worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Finance at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, where assistance was provided to MBA students. Matt's earlier experience includes roles as an IT Consultant at Abstractive Technology Consulting, including project management and CRM implementation, and as a Junior Web Developer at Red Brick Media. Matt's foundation in database development was established during a co-op at ATCO Gas, where a Microsoft Access database was designed, whereas earlier internships involved optimizing production efficiency using SAP. Matt holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems/Computer Science, both from the University of Alberta.
