Noora Ahola

Noora Ahola has a diverse work experience in various industries. Noora has held multiple roles at Mawson Gold Ltd (MAW,TSX), including Interim Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, MD in Mawson Oy - Finland, Director Environment, and Board Member. Noora has also served as a Board Member at the Finnish Mining Association and the Lapin kauppakamari - Lapland Chamber of Commerce, where they were also the Chair of the mining committee. Noora has been the Board Chair at Steiner-päiväkoti Aurelia and the Chair of the biodiversity working group at Teknologiateollisuus - Technology Industries of Finland. In addition, they have worked as an Environmental Leader at Mawson Resources Ltd, a C.E.O. at Nature of North Ltd., a Project manager at the Centre for Economic Development, Transport, and the Environment, and a Planner and inspector at the Lapland Environment Centre. Noora started their career as a Forestry Engineer at Ponsse North America Inc.

Noora Ahola received a Master's Degree in Landscape Management and Land use planning from Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences in 2010-2011. In 2002-2005, they studied Environmental Legislation at Joensuun yliopisto, but left without obtaining a degree. Noora completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Forestry at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2001. As of 2023, Noora has become an approved board member at Kauppakamari.
