Ricky Pickett has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Ricky started their career as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Campbell Piping and Construction in 1981, where they worked until 1998. In 1988, they joined Mobile Area Water Sewer System (MAWSS) as the Chief Treatment Plant Operator, a role they continue to hold. In 2017, they joined McCrory and Williams as a Construction Inspector. Earlier that year, they retired from MAWSS.
Ricky Pickett's education history includes attending Theodore High School from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a general degree in a general field of study. In addition to their high school education, they also obtained a certification as a Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade IV from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management in February 1989.
