Atul Thatai

Atul Thatai is a seasoned professional in the field of molecular and cytogenomics, currently serving as the Director of Molecular & Cytogenomics at Max Healthcare since April 2022. Prior to this role, Atul held various senior positions at Dr. Lal PathLabs from 2009 to 2022, including Associate Director R&D and Molecular Diagnostics, National Head R&D and Molecular Diagnostics, and Chief Molecular Scientist and Head of Molecular Diagnostics. Experience also includes a tenure as VP of Biotechnology at ARBRO PHARMACEUTICALS LTD. from 2006 to 2009 and as a Scientist at Dr. Lal Pathlabs from 2000 to 2006. Atul Thatai earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (1994-2000), a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from Panjab University (1991-1993), and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Panjab University (1988-1991).
