George Howard has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. George co-founded and served as the CIO of Acme Innovation, an investment and advising company focused on the emerging Web3 sector. At Acme Innovation, they made investments in multiple companies, founded in-house companies, and created strategic partnerships.

Additionally, George Howard held multiple positions at Berklee College of Music, including Distinguished Professor of Music, Associate Professor, and Distinguished Professor of Management. George also worked as a Founder at GHS and as the Chief Innovation Officer at Riptide Music Group, LLC.

George Howard has contributed to the field of music through their role as a Visiting Associate Professor at Brown University and as a Founding Member of the Open Music Initiative. George was instrumental in developing the business and marketing plan for Music Audience Exchange, where they served as a Founder and played a key role in raising venture funding and growing revenue.

In recent years, George Howard has taken on advisory roles. George serves as an Arts Advisor at Algorand, where they advise the founder and CEO on integrating music/media into the Algorand ecosystem and develops partnerships with artists. George Howard has a diverse educational background. George obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Boston University, graduating in 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire, completing their studies in 2004. In 2009, George earned a dual MBA/JD (Master of Business Administration/Juris Doctor) from Loyola University New Orleans, with a focus on business and law. While at Loyola, they also obtained additional certifications, including a Juris Doctor degree in May 2009 and a Masters of Business Administration degree in December 2007.
