Ben Metcalfe

Ben Metcalfe is a seasoned professional in geospatial data analysis and program operations, currently serving as Sr Technical Lead for Program Operations at Maxar Technologies since August 2020. Ben has a strong background in creating predictive models, particularly in capacity modeling for constellation capabilities. Prior experience includes roles at Titan Informatics as a Geospatial Data Scientist and General Assembly as a Data Science Fellow, where skills in GIS tools and data science methods were honed. Ben's earlier career involved significant contributions as a Geospatial Data Engineer at Global Mapping Solutions and teaching positions at the University of Oregon, where expertise in GIS and cartography developed. Ben holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Oregon.
