Chris Coker

Chris Coker has extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors, currently serving as VP/GM of Civil Space Programs & Robotics at Maxar Space Systems since December 2018, following a successful tenure in various vice president roles within the organization. Prior to Maxar, Chris held several leadership positions, including Executive Director of Advanced Programs and Systems at SSL from March 2007 to November 2018, and various engineering and management roles at Emerson Climate Technologies and SSL (Space Systems Loral) earlier in the career. Chris holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, a Graduate Certification in Space Systems Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
