Edwin Christhuraj

Edwin Christhuraj is a Satellite Flight Operations Engineer at Maxar Technologies since September 2022, where responsibilities include mission preparation for GEO communications satellites and real-time telemetry and command operations. Previously, as Dynamics and Control Systems Lead Engineer for UCI CubeSat from January 2020 to June 2022, Edwin developed a MATLAB simulation for a 2U LEO CubeSat and investigated detumbling techniques. Other roles include conducting avionics analyses for CubeSat systems, collaborating on a mission design for the Caltech Space Challenge, and interning as a Spacecraft GNC Engineer at Varda Space Industries. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine and is pursuing a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at San José State University.
