Katy Tran is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industries. Currently employed at Maxar Technologies since September 2016, Katy leads the development and management of IDP software products, overseeing the Agile Software Process and enhancing product quality. Previously, at Boeing from July 2009 to September 2016, Katy held various roles including SW Development Lead, where responsibilities included generating sales growth, managing software roadmaps, and delivering engineering quality. Prior experience includes project integration and software integration roles at General Dynamics, contributing to key military projects, and serving as a software engineer intern at Trident Systems. Katy holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.
