Megan Avery

Megan Avery is a highly skilled aerospace engineer with a diverse range of experience in space systems and environmental engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at Maxar Technologies since November 2023, Megan previously held roles at Planet and Maxar Technologies, where responsibilities included managing space environments for various spacecraft programs, such as NASA's Power and Propulsion Element and Intelsat-40e. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Space Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both from the University of Michigan. Additional roles involved instructing undergraduate students on instrumentation, participating in NASA-sponsored projects, and developing models for payload and missile intercept systems.
