Michele Orme

Michele Orme has extensive experience in satellite imaging operations and collection planning, showcasing a career that began in 1995 with International Design Services as Operations Manager. Transitioning into the satellite industry, Michele worked at Orbimage, Inc. as a Space Segment Controller before advancing to GeoEye, where roles included Senior Satellite Collection Planner and Lead Satellite Collection Planner. After GeoEye's acquisition by DigitalGlobe, Michele held the position of Senior Collection Planning Analyst and subsequently Lead Collection Planning Analyst, continuing this role after DigitalGlobe's transition to Maxar Technologies. Currently, Michele serves as Senior Technical Lead, Collection Planning at Maxar, leveraging expertise in high-resolution satellite constellation tasking strategies and imaging operations. Michele is also an MBA candidate at Colorado State University.
