Mike Rowell

Mike Rowell is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in solar technology. Currently serving as the Senior External Products Engineer at Maxar Technologies since June 2020, Mike has previously held positions such as R&D Engineer at D2Solar LLC, where responsibilities included solar module design, reliability, and failure analysis. Prior roles include Senior Integration Engineer at SunPower Corporation, focusing on module R&D and performance modeling, and earlier R&D positions at D2 Solar and Twin Creeks Technologies, specializing in prototyping and process integration of solar cells. Mike holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
