Nancy Podger serves as the Director of Radiometric Calibration, Monitoring and Assessment (RadCAM) at Maxar Technologies since January 2022. With extensive experience at Maxar Technologies (formerly Digital Globe) since August 2013 as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Team, Nancy specializes in the radiometric calibration of WorldView satellites, technical leadership, image quality, system engineering, and project management, while also mentoring junior personnel. Prior to this role, Nancy held positions at GeoEye (now DigitalGlobe), where responsibilities included overseeing calibration integration for the GeoEye-2 satellite, as well as leading efforts in change detection and land cover classification. Consulting experience includes working with various organizations in remote sensing and GIS from 1998 to 2005. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Environmental Monitoring from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from William & Mary.
