Michael Ferrara

Director of Client Implementations at Maxient

Michael Ferrara has extensive work experience in the field of higher education. Michael began their career in 2005 as a Residence Director at Emerson College. In 2007, they moved to Fitchburg State College as an Associate Director of Operations and Facilities for Housing and Residential Services. In 2009, they joined Northeastern University as the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution. In 2014, they became an Adjunct Faculty at Springfield College, leading instructor for courses in the Organizational Management Master's Program, as well as a lead instructor for undergraduate group research project courses, and an academic advisor. Also in 2014, they joined Maxient LLC as the Director of Client Implementations, overseeing new client implementations and working with a variety of stakeholders, including IT departments and project managers.

Michael Ferrara began their educational journey in 1998 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education: Earth Science from Western Connecticut State University. Michael then attended the University of Connecticut and obtained a Master's Degree in Professional Higher Education Administration in 2005. In 2008, Michael Ferrara earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration - Management from Fitchburg State University. Finally, in 2017, they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
