Beth Carruthers is an experienced leader in business development and human services, currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Managing Director of Human Services at Maximus UK since April 2016. Prior experience includes a prominent role as Chief Executive at Remploy, where leadership oversaw operations across over 70 locations and a team of approximately 850 colleagues, successfully supporting 60,000 disabled individuals in 2013. Carruthers also held the position of Managing Director of Employment Services at Remploy, driving the establishment of a business model focused on delivering superior outcomes for disabled people. Beginning a career at Remploy as Regional Manager for Scotland in 2000, notable achievements include leading a significant project that enhanced business performance and outcomes. Prior to Remploy, Carruthers worked as a Management Development and Organisation Development Manager at Scottish Power. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Education from the University of Glasgow, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
