Jorge Alberto Matias Chavarria is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement across various industries. Currently serving as Regional Manager for North America Operational Excellence at Maxion Wheels since January 2020, Jorge leads cross-functional teams to implement OPEX tools, drive productivity, and enhance performance in plants located in Mexico and the USA. Prior experience includes leading sales operations for Latin America at Lutron Electronics, overseeing SMT operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement at multiple facilities. Notable past roles also include Lean Leader at GE and Lean Six Sigma Expert at Safran, where Jorge significantly improved cycle times and operational efficiency. Jorge holds a degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua, earned between 2002 and 2007.
