Hisham Omar

Hisham Omar currently serves as the Head of Corporate Communications at Maxis, beginning in September 2023, after previously holding the position of Media Relations Senior Specialist within the same company. Prior to Maxis, Hisham worked at CIMB as Vice President of Group Corporate Communications and Assistant Vice President, managing various aspects of corporate communications including public relations and executive communications. Hisham also has experience at ValueCAP, where roles included Vice President in Marketing & Communications and Group Communications, as well as corporate communications positions at ILMU Education Group and Ogilvy Public Relations. Early career highlights include serving as a Corporate Communications Executive at Guinness Anchor Berhad and as a Graduate Teaching Associate at San Diego State University. Hisham holds a Master of Arts in Communication from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Montana.
