Rishiraj Sugunan

Rishiraj Sugunan has a strong background in corporate finance and infrastructure projects. Rishiraj worked as an Associate Director at KPMG Malaysia from November 2013 to September 2021, where they led engagements on infrastructure development strategy, PPPs, project finance advisory, M&A deals, and business transformation. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Legal Assistant at Sugu K. & Partners, where they conducted legal research, drafted contracts, and provided administrative support. Rishiraj also worked as a Tutor at Monash University Malaysia from March 2011 to June 2012. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Corporate Finance at Maxis, where they oversee the company's corporate finance activities.

Rishiraj Sugunan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Monash University Malaysia, from 2006 to 2010. Rishiraj also obtained a certification from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2016.
